Mary Beth Daniels

July 23, 1967 - April 19, 2022

Mary Beth Daniels went home to be with the Lord on April 19, 2022 in Wilmington, Delaware surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born in Wilmington, Delaware on July 23, 1967 to the late Joseph and Mary Daniels. Mary received her early education in the Wilmington public school system. She attended Wilmington High School where she graduated in 1985. Mary also attended Delaware Technical Community College where she received multiple certifications. Mary loved to cook which was her career of choice for many years of her life. She enjoyed cooking for others and was also a food critic! Mary also loved to shop, and her favorite store was Boscov’s. She loved to get “fly” from head to toe and always made sure her shoes and purse matched the clothes she had on. Mary had a heart of gold—if she could help you in any way, she would. If she couldn’t help you, she wouldn’t hurt you. Mary loved to surprise people with gifts. She always bought the ones she loved something special without you having any knowledge. Mary adored spending time around her family, especially her grandchildren. She also believed in Jesus Christ who was her Lord and Savior and enjoyed listening to her gospel music. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother Christopher Sutton, Sr., and her sister Josephine Larue. Mary is survived by her children Keair Daniels, Shyann Lampkins (Japhis}, and Shawn Daniels; brothers Lawrence Daniels, Mark Daniels, Curtis Daniels, Ronald Daniels (Stalina) and devoted brother Earl Daniels; devoted sister Carol Ann Daniels, Sheila Kelley (William), and Christine Daniels; grandchildren Ibn Drumgo, Ke’Asia Evans, Jibrael, Amirah and Amir Lampkins (Ja’la), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Mary was a very strong, independent and outspoken woman with a big sense of humor, and she remained that way until the very end.
