It is with deep love and gratitude that the family of Wilmina Johnson announces her peaceful passing on July 18, 2026, at Christiana Hospital. Born in Wilmington, Delaware, on January 30, 1942, Wilmina was the cherished daughter of Daniel June Johnson and Mary Frances Johnson (née Dabney).

Wilmina was part of a large and loving family. She was preceded in death by her brothers Gerald L. Brown, Daniel J. Johnson, John R. Johnson, and Preston E. Johnson. She is lovingly remembered by her brothers Melvin J. (Geraldine) Johnson and Victor M. (Mary Jean) Johnson; and her sisters Marie R. (Joseph) Carter, Ada M. (Lawrence) Gasby, Ida E. (John) Kane, Elaine D. Crawford, and Mary L. Johnson.

She is also survived by a host of cherished nieces, nephews, loving cousins, and dear friends, all of whom were touched by her warmth, generosity, and unwavering faith.

Wilmina’s life was a testament to endurance, love, and spiritual strength. Her family looks forward to the day when Jehovah fulfills His promise to reunite loved ones in perfect health and peace.
