William Edward Sturgis

William Edward Sturgis, age 64 of Smyrna, Delaware died Sept 20, 2013 at home after an extended illness in the company of his loving wife, Shirley, and family. He is survived by daughters Inez Sturgis and Erin Dillard, as well as stepchildren Desire, Rodney, and Sidney. Mr. Sturgis was born on Dec 31, 1948 near Snow Hill, Maryland to the late Reece William Sturgis and Maisie Taylor Sturgis Collins. He was preceded in death by his son William Sturgis, Jr., sister Inez and brothers Andrew and Jessie. He is also survived by his mother Maisie Collins, brothers Larry Taylor, Benjamin, Donald, Reece, and Ronnie, and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and his aunt Dorothy Wharton.
