Walter T Crawford

Walter "Walt" Crawford, Sr., age 54, Wilmington, Delaware, transitioned this life suddenly on October 25, 2011. He was born in Abbeville, South Carolina, July 10, 1957. Walt graduated from Wilmington High School and continued on to the US Job Corps. He worked as a Pastry Chef for the DuPont Company until he retired. He also held positions at the US Post Office and the Rockford Center in Wilmington, DE. Walt served in the United States Army as a Heavy Equipment Operator and was ranked an E4 at the time of his honorable discharge. He is preceded in death by his father, John Thomas Jackson and grandparents, John and Sally Jackson and John and Sadie Crawford. He is survived by his wife, Tina Crawford; 1 son, Walter Thomas Crawford, Jr. (Na'Tieka); 2 daughters, Krystyna Russell (Aaron) and Kayla Crawford; 4 grandchildren, Thomas, Kairi, Elijah and Yvonne; mother, Clara J. Davis; 3 sisters, Louise Brinson (Charles), Gwen Purnell and Eve Crawford; 1 brother, Edward Davis, all of Wilmington, DE and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and special friends.
