Terry Lamar Penn

Terry Lamar Penn was born on April 10, 1955, in Rome, Georgia to the late Hughdon Penn, Sr. and Betty Penn. Terry departed this life on November 26, 2025, at the age of 70, surrounded by his loving family.

Terry affectionately known as “T”, received his early education in the Floyd County Schools. He later graduated from Wilmington High School in Wilmington DE. After graduating high school, Terry worked for the Dupont Country Club and later enrolled in the U.S Marine Core. After Terry returned from his service in the military, he went on to work for J.P. Hunt where he became a Truck Driver.

Terry was known to take rides on his motorcycle and for his witty sense of humor. He enjoyed traveling, watching TV, movies and fishing.

Terry was preceded in death by his father Hughdon Penn, Sr., his brothers William D. Penn, Sr. Hughdon Penn, Jr. (Patches)

He is survived by his mother Betty Penn, sister, Victoria E. English (Clarence) daughters, Terri Sherrie Penn and Saphira Marie Penn, his grandchildren Destiny, John, Jeremiah, Mason, and Navaeh.

Ms. Betty wants you to know that he was “LOVED” by his mother/sister whole heartedly.
