Shealyn Y Gray

Shealyn Y. Gray, 39 of New Castle, DE peacefully passed away on Friday, August 7, 2009. Ms. Gray was born in Wilmington, DE on May 7, 1970, daughter of the late Darlene O. Smoke. Ms. Gray was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. She was an educator for most of her adult life. She had a sincere love for children. She had many hobbies, including art, sewing and scrapbooking. She is survived by her sister, Shana Y. Gray; nephews, Frederick O. Gray and Hameen Tariq; aunts, Rhonda Gray, Denise Butler and Janice Jolly; uncle, David Smoke and the late Edward Smoke; granddaughter of Anna Price and Dolores Gray; goddaughters , Anisha and Tiana Simpson; her beloved "grandson", Christopher Z. Simpson; godmothers, Selliestean Worsley, Patricia Davis and Eloise Wilmore; devoted friend, Beverly "Bubbie" Dobson and a host of other relatives and friends.
