McCants, and 3 brothers, Clyde Benjamin, Sr., Tommy L. McCants and Alexander Bey McCants (Brenda). Sonny married his loving wife, Valerie (Bateman) McCants in 1993. He brought 8 children to this union, Veronica Wright (Timothy), Patricia Carter, Yvette Wiggs, Marlene Demby, Aaron Tillman, Sean McCants, Charlene Collier and Darius Collier. Sonny also leaves to cherish his memory 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, his mother, Addie LO.
