Ruby F. Davis-Johnson

Ruby Davis Johnson, age 71 passed away peacefully on Monday, July 4, 2005, at her residence. She was born in Chatham, VA and raised in Chester, PA. She was the oldest of 4 children to Eva S. Davis and the late Roy H. Davis. She worked as a domestic engineer until she retired at age 70. She was predeceased by her brother Roy H. Davis; sister, Eva Bungy and her husband, James A. Johnson, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Eva S. Davis of Chester, PA; one brother, Howard "Kenny" Davis (Betty S.) of Wilmington, DE; one son, Derrick A. Gallion, Sr., (Pamela H.) of Columbia, SC; a daughter, Olivia J. Harris (Gregory) of Wilmington, DE; granddaughters, Kenya G. Johnson (Felton J.) of Jacksonville, NC and Chandra L. Harris of Wilmington, DE; grandsons, Derrick A. Gallion, Jr., Ft. Lauderdale, FL and G. Brandon Harris of Wilmington, DE; great grandson, Christopher J. Johnson and a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
