Richard Cheatwood

Richard Cheatwood, of the late Carolyn Lea of Wilmington, DE, was born January 8, 1968. He went home to be with the lord on Wednesday August 5th 2020. He attended William Penn High School and later graduated from Keystone JobCorp in Pennsylvania. Richard was by trade an electrician and in his spare time he loved to fish, watch movies, spend time with his little cousins and was a loyal Dolphins fan. Rich was preceded in death by his devoted friend Theresa W.; his nephew, Douglas Lea III and many loved Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his brother Douglas Lea Jr. (Dawn); sister Nakia Lea (Angelica); two uncles, Lewis Cheatwood and George Cheatwood; one Aunt Delores M. Cheatwood; one Great-Great Aunt Carolyn Grinnell; one Great-Great Uncle Allen Rider; devoted cousins Kim(Moe), Amber and Ty (Leah) Cheatwood; two cherished cousins Kristen (Peanut) and Kaiden (KK) Cheatwood; two devoted step-daughters Shaina Sweeney and Shannon Miller. Richard also leaves behind a host of cousins, aunts and uncles.
