Randolph Holmes was born on March 4, 1968, to Jennie Holmes in Newark, New Jersey, and departed this life on August 5, 2025, at home.

Randolph, also known as Randy or Stimmey to immediate family and friends, left Newark, New Jersey in his teens and travelled to Penns Grove New Jersey with his family. Randy matriculated through Salem County New Jersey school system. Excelling academically came natural to him, due to his quick learning skills with great dedication and confidence. Randolph proudly joined the United States Army in 1987 serving as a unit supply specialist and achieving rank of corporal E4. While serving eight years he received various metals such as good conduct metal army Recommendation metal and NCO professional development ribbon as well as being able to speak several languages.

In 1995 after being honorably discharged, Randolph gained employment with Defense Printing Company in Fort Drum, New York. Randolph soon after settled in Georgia in 2002 where he accepted employment with securities security services as a site supervisor. Randolph later accepted a career with departments of veteran affairs as a Program Support Assistant in 2016 where he excelled with hard work and dedication, which put him on a path of new endeavors to a promotion as a Legal Administration Specialist.

Randolph later earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degree from University of Phoenix, continuing his path of service and lifelong commitment to learning.

Randolph was truly a character, extremely funny with a big laugh he often reminisced about growing up in Newark New Jersey. Randolph cherished his family, friends and coworkers.

Randolph leads to cherish his memory, his mother, Jennie Holmes, Penns Grove, New Jersey his son Randolph, Holmes (Tiffany) Paulsboro, New Jersey, his daughter Deja Holmes of Union City, Georgia, his bonus children, Angel Amaro , Marrissia Nichols Willis, his grandchildren, Saige, Camryn, Jayden, Julianna, Rylee, and Halo Holmes all of Paulsboro, New Jersey, his sister, Ursula Wilson of Salem, New Jersey, his brothers Larry (Regina) Holmes of Richmond, Virginia, Anthony (Veronica), Holmes of Roanoke, Virginia, Edwin (Benita) Holmes of Salem New Jersey, his Aunts and Uncles, John & Lola Rullo, Herbert Nichols, Sonny Bundy, his nieces and nephews Pete and Maurice Acree, Nikita, Latasha, Lachina, Uulica & Latonia, his favorite cousins Toni, John, John and Dominique, Rullo, William Roy a host of cousins, family and friends.

Randolph was predeceased in death by his grandparents, Lonnie and Etta Bundy, his stepfather Jesse Perkins, his aunts Kate, Adeline, MaryAnn and an Uncle Lonnie.

Above all Randolph (Stimmey) will be remembered for his devotion of service to his country, to his fellow veterans and to his family, his humor generosity, and one-of-a-kind presence will live forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
