She was born April 20, 1928 in Greenville, North Carolina to the late David and Flora Wilkes. In 1947 she married Norven Goldsberry and three children were born, Norven, Jr., Joyce and Jane. She leaves cherished memories to two biological daughters, Joyce Diane Goldsberry Furrowh and Jane Goldsberry Tunnell; three spiritual daughters, Evangelist Willa Greene, Missionary Marlene Newton and Shirley Truitt; two sisters Thelma McQueen and Willie Mae Matthews of Baltimore, MD.
