Michael Royce Brock, Sr.
June 26, 1953 – September 19, 2026
A Life of Strength, Dedication, Honor, and Love
Michael Royce Brock, Sr. was born on June 26, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, to the loving parents of Ethel and Edward Brock. He departed this life on September 19, 2026, in Wilmington, Delaware, leaving behind a legacy of strength, perseverance, discipline, and cherished memories that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Michael’s journey through life was marked by determination, hard work, and a commitment to excellence. He pursued his early childhood education before continuing his studies in Wilmington, where he attended high school. He later furthered his education, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Springfield University. His dedication to learning and personal growth reflected his desire to continue moving forward and achieving his goals.
Michael built a strong work ethic throughout his professional life. Following high school, he worked at General Motors, where he dedicated himself to the automotive industry. His journey later took him into the trucking industry, where he obtained his Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and drove big rig trucks. Through his experience, leadership, and dedication, he advanced to become a supervisor at Leonards Trucking Company. His career reflected his willingness to work hard, take on responsibility, and meet life’s challenges head-on.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Michael had a deep passion for martial arts. Through years of dedication, discipline, and commitment, he earned the distinguished title of Master Brock. Martial arts represented more than a skill; it was a reflection of his perseverance, focus, and determination. His military service as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, where he served two terms, further demonstrated his commitment to discipline, duty, and service.
Michael was a man whose life journey touched many people. His accomplishments, experiences, and the relationships he built became an important part of his story. Though his earthly journey has come to an end, the memories he created and the love he shared will continue to live on through his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
Those Who Preceded Him in Death
Michael was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Ethel Brock; his father, Edward Brock; and his sister, Harriet Brock. We take comfort in knowing that the love they shared remains an everlasting part of his story.
His Brotherhood and Motorcycle Family
Michael’s life was also deeply connected to the brotherhood he shared with the Thunder Guards Nation. The road represented more than miles traveled; it represented loyalty, brotherhood, shared experiences, and bonds built on trust and respect.
Michael Brock was a 1% . The brotherhood that held a special place in his heart. These were the brothers who stood beside him, shared in his journey, and became part of a bond that extended beyond friendship. The connection was rooted in loyalty, unity, and the understanding that family is not always defined by blood, but by the people who stand with you through life’s journey.
For Michael, the brotherhood was a meaningful part of his life and identity. The memories made, roads traveled, and bonds formed will remain a lasting part of his legacy. Though he has taken his final ride, the spirit of brotherhood and the memories he shared with his fellow riders will continue to live on.
Ride in peace, Master Brock. The road may have come to an end, but the brotherhood never fades. Your brothers will remember you, your family will cherish you, and your legacy will ride on forever.
Those He Leaves to Cherish His Memory
Michael leaves behind his significant other, Dianne Marshall, and his former wife, Patricia Lewis, with whom he shared three children: Michael Royce Brock, Jr., Sheika Lazette Brock, and Marcus Royce Brock.
His legacy continues through his five beloved grandchildren: Sasha Lewis, Camille Brock, Michael Royce Brock III, Marque Brock, and Tania Brock, who will carry his memory forward through their lives and future generations.
He also leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Michele Brock-Duff; his two brothers, Edwin Brock and Edward Brock; his former wife, Carolyn, and her children, Tora Gould-Cousin, Leslie Gould and Travis Harrison; along with a host of extended family members, relatives, and dear friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
A Lasting Legacy
Though our hearts are heavy with the pain of saying goodbye, we give thanks for the life Michael lived, the accomplishments he achieved, and the memories that remain. His journey was uniquely his own, filled with experiences that shaped the man he became and relationships that formed an enduring part of his legacy.
As we reflect on the life of Michael Royce Brock, Sr., may we remember his strength, honor his dedication, and celebrate the lasting imprint he leaves behind. Though he is no longer physically present among us, his memory will continue to shine through his children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
