Age70, of NewCastle, De passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 29, 2005 surrounded by his family at home. He was born December 21, 1935, son to the late Thomas and Margaret Ponzo. He leaves to cherish his memory, former wife Alberta Ponzo; 3 daughters; Diane Mils-Harris, Michelle Warner and Adrienne Ponzo; 1 son Durell Owens; 1 son-in-law, Craig Robinson; 2 step-daughters Lauren Wilson-Bussey (Charles) and Patriica Wilson-Aden; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 11 sisters Sophia Allen, Lottie Wilson of Baltimore, MD, Shirley Robinson, Emma Golden (Albert), Adlia Moore, A. Theresa Henry (Doc), Anna Ponzo, Stacy Ponzo Owens(Prentiss), Shirley Barnes, Althea Anderson (Dwight) and Marcia Williams all of Wilmington, DE; 2 brothers, Samuel "Bill" Ponzo (Patricia) and Lonnie Ponzo of Wilmington, DE; 1 uncle James E.Thompson (Jeanette) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
