Lorraine E. "Tina" Wright

Lorraine graduated from Howard High School in 1966.

Tina later worked for the Wilmington Senior Center before retiring. Lorraine was known as a courageous and kind hearted person, who would go over and beyond to help a friend, without asking for anything in return. Some of her hobbies included solving Fill-in puzzles and watching Turner Classic Movies.

Lorraine was predeceased by her grandmother Fannie Mae Helen Smith; mother Barbara D. Smith; father Richard Bush Jr.; son Gary Smith; brothers James A. Smith Sr., Ronald W. Smith and Michael Jackson; ex-husbands Philip A. Wright and John Saunders.

Tina is survived by her children Monica Wright, Anthony Smith (Aisha), grandchildren Toniesha Neal, Alexis Smith, Ayanna Smith, Sebastian Smith and Janiyah Whitted; great-grandchildren Amani Dorsey and Amiyah Smallwood; and a host brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made in Lorraine's name to the American Cancer Society
