Lela Romeo

Age 101, went Home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 10, 2009. She was born in Blackville, South Carolina to the late James and Almetter Jackson, and was the wife of the late Richard Romeo and the mother of the late Detrick Romeo. She leaves to cherish her memory, her brother, Lafayette Jackson of New York; 9 grandchildren and their spouses, Richard Romeo (Rosalyn) of Texas, Lela Hardin (Elliot) of Delaware, Sharon Davis of Connecticut, Ronald Romeo, Rhonda Romeo, LaKeisha Brooks and Dawoen Wilson all of Delaware, Deidra Williams (Irven) of Georgia and Passion Sommerville of Michigan; 30 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
