Kim Henry "Pearl" Coverdale went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 16, 2012. Born on November 11, 1954, he attended Wilmington public schools and graduated from Howard High School. He is preceded in death by his mother, Olivia Coverdale(Anderson) and father, Walter Samuels. Kim leaves to cherish his memories, his only daughter, Shavonne White; grandson, Shane Lopez; six sisters; three brothers; and a host of other family members and friends.
