Age 67 of Wilmington, DE died Tuesday, January 13th, 2004 at his home surrounded by his family. He is survived by wife of 44 years, Doris Alston; children, Joe Alston, Jr., Ruth Collins, Vashi Baker-Fowikes, Ruth Baker, Jerome Baker, Marynn Baker and Cherly Cooper; his mother, Ann Curry; 7 sister and 2 brothers; a devoted aunt, Mary Worldly; 26 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 4 great-greatgrandchildren; and 2 devoted grand-daugters; and host of family and friends.
