John L. Freeman

Mr. Freeman was born in South Boston, VA, on June 20, 1915. He was the son of the late Rose and John Freeman. He resided in Odessa, DE for many years, then the family moved to Wilmington, DE. He worked for Abex Steel Co. for 33 years. The family of Mr. Freeman considered Zora UMC as their church. Mr. Freeman was a friend to all he met and had a special love for children. Mr. Freeman was predeceased by his wife, Hatie Freeman. He leaves to cherish his memory, 1 son John Freeman(Rebecca); 1 daughter Paulett Harris (Edward); 7 grandchildren; and a host of great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law; 1 brother-in-law; and a host of friends.
