Celebration of his Life, Services 11:00am on Friday, Aug.8, 2008 at The House of Wright Mortuary 208 E. 35th St. Wilm., DE. Viewing 9:00am to 11:00am. Interment in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE He was preceded in death by his father, Herman E. and mother, Carrie B. Blackson of Townsend, DE; two sisters Louvinia L. Woods and Anita Phillips; a brother William L. (Pete) Blackson. He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Ellen Delores Garnett, Steven A. Ford (Donna), Marguerite Heath, Herman A. Seth, Tanya Matthews; three brothers, James H. and Roland E. (Smoke) Blackson, Rev. Allan Jones; a sister, Mary Virginia Smith, sister-in-law Mary L. Blackson, aunt, Leona Williams, and step-mother Beatrice Blackson; 18 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, lots of cousins and friends and "Boss" Blackson his sheppard.
