Ms. Mathis was born on May 19, 1936. She left this life on Thursday, July 9, 2015.
Gladys loved the Lord and love totally saturated her entire being. It was in her eyes, her touch, her smile, and her heart. She loved every one!
She leaves to cherish her memories five daughters Eileen Summers, Matilda Madric (Arthur), Sharron Dixon (Robert), Robin Mathis, and Juanita Moore, and two sons Fred Mathis,III (Laura), and Kenneth Mathis (Patricia), one sister Joann Holliday, one sister in law Mildred Ann Freeman, and two brother- in laws Joseph Henry and James Holliday, 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews, devoted friends and neighbors.
