Gerald Anthony Taylor

Gerald “Tony” Taylor was born on August 18th, 1958, in Wilmington, DE to Mary and Herman “Pete” Taylor. He passed away on May 15th, 2025, in Wilmington, DE.

Tony received his early childhood education at Mary C.I. Williams School. He graduated from P.S. Dupont High School. After high school, he enlisted in the air force, where he was honorably discharged after many years.

Tony was employed at J.P. Morgan Chase for over 35 years.

Tony was a die-hard New York Mets and Chicago Bears fan. He enjoyed cooking for his family and helping anyone in need.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Herman Taylor, brothers Bruce W. Taylor, Herman T. Taylor, Tyrone Kennedy, and sister Sharon Taylor. 

Tony leaves to cherish his memory his brothers Steve Taylor (Victoria) and Shawn Taylor, sister Cynthia Taylor (Barry Guy), and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family, and friends.
