Faith Lynette Goslee Tiller, affectionately known as "Sugg," was born on June 17, 1964, in Harlem, New York, to Mary E. Jackson and Edward Putnam. Faith departed this life on September 24, 2026, at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware.
Faith received her early childhood education at P.S. 46 Sands Jr. High, and she graduated from Sarah J. Hale High School in Brooklyn. After completing her education, Faith worked as an accountant at Ace Packing in New York for 1 O years. She later began a career as a correction Officer at Rikers Island in New York, where she dedicated 21 years of service before retiring.
Those who knew Faith knew that she enjoyed life and the people around her. Some of her favorite pastimes included working puzzles, playing bingo, visiting casinos, playing handball, and enjoying a good game of spades. These simple pleasures brought her happiness and created many special memories with family and friends.
Faith was preceded in death by her beloved second mother and aunt, Susie Butts; her uncle, Frank Butts; and her goddaughter, Shanice Adams.
Faith leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, George Tiller of Delaware, her sons: Rodney Cox of Delaware and Rayshawn Cox (Diamond) of Texas; mother, Mary Jackson of Green Valley, Arizona. Her sisters: Marilyn Cable (Michael) of Tucson, Arizona; Karen Jackson of Virginia; Leanna Jackson of Florida; and Felicia Butts of New Jersey; and her brothers: LeGrand Jackson (Vanessa) of Delaware; LaShawn Jackson of Florida; and Charles Jackson (Shavon) of New York; her brother-in-law, Norman Tiller of Maryland; sisters-in-law, Lucille Tiller, Clarissa Tiller, Inez Goldsborough of Delaware, and Reba Tiller of Maryland.
Faith's memory will live on through her beloved grandchildren: Nonie and Nyce Cox of Texas; Brooklyn and Harlem Cox, Aonya and Asha Jordan of Delaware.
She also leaves her dear best friend, Michele Castilo of Virginia and Aunt Gloria Kelley of Salisbury, MD, along with a host of cousins, nieces, and friends.
Faith will be deeply missed. Her life, laughter, strength, and the memories she created with those she loved will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
