Eleanor Roberson

Eleanor Roberson was born on April 19, 1957, in Waynesboro, Ga to Ella Mae Roberson and James Carswell. Eleanor joined the ancestors surrounded by loving family on August 23, 2026

Eleanor received her elementary education at Blakely Elementary School and secondary education from Lehman High School, in The Bronx NY, graduating in 1975 Eleanor was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother sister and friend. Her warm, kind, inviting and joyous spirit touched everyone around her. She treasured time with her family and friends and made everyone feel seen and deeply loved.

She is preceded in death, by her parents, her sisters Connie, Jennie, Caroline and Shirley. Her brothers Moses, Lawrence, Carl, Charles and James.

Eleanor leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband Sunni Ali, her children Olakisi, Sekhem, Nefertari, Tamboura and Shaka. Her Grandchildren Azyon, Kalimah, Pharaoh, Blane Jr, Jahir, Bakari, Naimah, Messiah, Sahara, Jerimiah, Amiri, Haajara and Zymar. Her Great-granddaughter Zariah. Her Beloved sister Queen Roberson. Her sister Barbara Gordon. Her nieces Kelene and Cirise. Her Goddaughters Tanisha and Shavon and a host of family and friends.
