Suddenly in Wilmington on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, Don "Buzz", "Buzzy" Banice went home to Glory. Born to Wilbur Smith and Joyce Fanning, deceased; raised by Margaret G. Scrivens whom he called Mother. Survived by his children Bineca Banice Floyd, Sean, Missie, Dohnay, Chardon, Donielle, and Dontel Banice; stepchildren, Airial Boyd, Damisha and Davon Vaughn; his mother, Margaret G. Scrivens; sisters, Shayne Williams, Sabrina Scrivens-Carter, and Cynthia Canup; brothers, Christopher, Jr., Eddy and Glenn Scrivens; Tom and Jesse Jones; four grandchildren.
