David Richardson, born in England in 1950, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2026, from complications of Parkinson's disease. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known him.
Dave built a successful career in sales and was the owner of Canterbury Sales, a company specializing in high-end gift products for the home. Outgoing, friendly, and intelligent, Dave had a natural ability to connect with people. He genuinely cared about others and had a particular concern for those less fortunate than himself. His generosity and kindness were an important part of who he was.
Dave loved life and the people and things that made it special. A proud Englishman, he was a devoted Chelsea football fan and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his beloved team. He was also an animal lover with particular affection for his schnauzers and cats, who were very much part of the family.
Above all, Dave loved his family. He is survived by Margaret, his beloved wife of 46 years; his sons, Mark and Stephen; his son-in-law, David; his daughter-in-law, Cara; and his three young grandsons, who brought tremendous joy to his life. His is also survived by his sister, Jayne, in England; his niece, Naomi; his nephews, Ben and Jack; and their families.
Dave will be remembered for his warmth, intelligence, generosity, and love of his life. He leaves behind a family who loved him dearly, many cherished friendships, and memories that will continue to bring both smiles and comfort to those who knew him.
