David Allen Ray was born on March 13, 1955, in Wilmington, Delaware to Elmer Ray and
Margaret Ray. David passed on June 9th. 2023 at home in Bear, Delaware.
David received his early education at Cleveland Elementary School and graduated from
Salesianum High School. After school he worked for Sears Automotive for over 30 years.
David was also a faithful member of Scott A. M. E Zion Church. He had many hobbies including
long walks by the water, he also loved going to the movies and martial arts.
David was proceeded in death by his parents Elmer Ray and Margaret Ray-Miller.
David is survived by his wife Glovenia Ray, as well as his daughter Keyonna Tay-Gillette. David
also has 6 Grandchildren DayQuon, Ke'Erin, Letrell, Ke'Maine, Ke'Shawn, and Darian Jr, and 5
Great Grandchildren, Zion, Landen, Kairo, Kash, and Legacy.
