Charles H. Martin

Charles H. Martin, Sr. (Bill) died peacefully at home on Thursday, June 9, 2005 after suffering a long illness. Bill was born in Denton, Maryland on September 6, 1931 to the late James C. and Mary Scott Martin. Bill was a sergeant in the army and then worked as a contractor for William H. Steward & Sons for 30 years. He is survived by his loving wife Louise A. Moody Martin; Children Janet, Charles Jr., Maurice Martin and Raymond Moody; sister Anne Mae Martin; two aunt; grandchildren Ty Wilmore, Raymond Blake, Clinton Hall, Tashia and Doris Moody; in-laws Elsie Brown, Darlene Crumble, Carlton Moody and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews Tonya Spencer, Reginald Armstrong, Margaret Cummings, Elwood and Crystal Moody and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
