Betty was born on December 6, 1949 in Whitesville, NC to Johnny Lafayette and Gracie Elizabeth Randall Jones. She passed on November 26, 2020 at Seasons Hospice in Wilmington, DE.
She is survived by her husband: Gordon Eugene Loatman, son: Lamotte Jones; daughters: Gordett Jones-Loatman, Kathy Loatman, Gornesha Loatman and Joelanter Bobb; siblings and their significant other: Wessie Boney-Warrick and Billy Warrick, Virginia and Terrence Bratcher, Jerry and Theresa Jones, Cleathus "Cornell" Jones, Crystal and Kevin Brown and Katrina Jones-Adams; grandchildren: Brandon Bobb-Jones, Terrance Bobb-Jones, Dominique Barnes-Jones, Michael Barnes and Jamiere Harris; god-daughter: Terri Righter and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and classmates.
