He is survived by two sons; Caleb Jervay (tate Rosemary) and Edward Jervey (Marylin), niece; Bonnie Brown, nephew; Alvy Shepard who he helped raised; nine grandchildren; Karon, Benita, Andrea, Caleb, Cynthia, Christopher, Cathleen, Chrylnn and Edward, Jr.; twenty-two great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; his siblings; twin brother; Reuben (Betty), Jacob and Louis (Ruth) and Al Darby(Grace) all of Wilmington, DE; a God-daughter, Lisa Beach and a devoted nephew; Willis Brown, Jr. who also helped to care for Uncle Ben during his illness a host of other family and friends.
