Ashmead Lamotte "Colonel" Blackiston

Ashmead L. Blackiston age 65, of New Castle DE, passed away on Monday December 27, 2010. He is the son of the late George and Helen Blackiston. Ashmead worked for the Wilmington Housing Authority until he retired in 2005. After retirement he continued to enjoy listening to music and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his devoted wife, Rolanda Wing Blackiston, three daughters, Ericka Ricketts, Monica and Chere Wing; one son Calvin Wing. Six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
