Arthur Leonard Strickland

Arthur Leonard Strickland was born on November 11th 1933, in Belvedere Delaware to James and Cornelia Strickland. He passed away on September 17, 2025.

Arthur graduated from Howard High School and then joined the Army. Once he left the Army, he attended the University of Delaware. After school, he worked at various jobs and retired from Dupont.

He enjoyed bowling and was very proud of his 300 score. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife Annabelle Strickland. His parents James and Cornelia Strickland, brothers James, Luther, George and Walter.

He is survived by his son Dwight (Carol) and children Alex and David. Daughters: Rowena Liles and children Lonielle, Shammah and Aletha. Lisa Strickland (fiancé Randall Kitchens) and her son Max. And Tina Strickland. And Great grandchildren.
