Arnette Marie Callahan

Arnette passed away peacefully at Seasons Hospice in Newark on July 16, 2014. Arnette was born in Wilmington on February 4, 1935 to the late Violet and William Johnson. She was the youngest of 12 siblings of which Rudolph Johnson (Sarah) is the only survivor. Arnette retired from the United States Postal Service. Arnette is survived by her sons Alto Johnson (Diane), Arnold Johnson (Hester), Lavocia Callahan(Vanessa) and Melvin Callahan (Brenda), a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and devoted friends.
