On April 11, 2016, peacefully, in her home, surrounded by family, Annabelle succumbed to a long fought illness. She was preceded in death by her son, Reginald Kornegay in 2011 and her husband, Isaac Kornegay, Sr. in 2012.
Annabelle leaves to cherish her memory her children: Mary and Linda Kornegay, Ann Watts (Eddie), Isaac Kornegay, Jr. (Rose), Stanley Kornegay (Francine), Marvin Kornegay (Bernadette), Patricia Lawrence (Elford), Craig Kornegay (Mona),; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
