Angela Yvonne Davis, daughter of Lucille and Sidney J. Ross, III was born October 21, 1948 in Wilmington, DE. She departed this life Friday, August 8, 2008 at home surrounded by her loving family. Angela received her education in the Wilmington public school system and her last place of employment was with the NAACP. Angela married Melvin F. Davis October 10, 1978. Angela was predeceased in death by her father, Sidney J. Ross, III. Angela leaves to cherish her memories, husband Melvin F. Davis; mother, Lucille Ross; children, Jonni Antoinette (Dale) Young and Anthony Moore; step-children, Maurice Eaddy and Donna (Ray) Taylor; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Vivian and Robin; 4 brothers, Sidney J.
