Alayah Khamora Terrell-Ballard

Alayah Khamorah Terrell-Ballard entered this world on March 12, 2019, to two proud parents, Adirah Terrell-Johnson and Keyseign Ballard. She departed this earthly life on July 14, 2026, joining many ancestors before her. This coming school year, she would have been entering 2nd grade at Brader Elementary, while still under the support and guidance of her Stubbs Elementary School family, where her formal education began.

Alayah was a beautiful, vibrant, and loving 7-year-old whose smile could brighten any room. From the moment she entered, her radiant personality, unique style, and unforgettable presence captivated the hearts of everyone around her. She was truly one of a kind! With confidence and grace beyond her years, and a joyful spirit, she made every day a little brighter.

Alayah adored expressing herself and had a special love for collecting backpacks, each one as unique and colorful as she was. She loved to dance, whenever she heard music, always encouraging those around her to get up and join in. Each day she displayed such determination to outshine her brothers through her confidence, energy, and fearless spirit. As the only girl in the house, she proved to be as tough and strong as the boys. Alayah took great delight in making people laugh, sharing her creative imagination, and weaving detailed stories to her grandparents, who cherished every moment of conversation with her.

Whether she was dancing, laughing, or proudly showing off her latest backpack, Alayah embraced life with lots of excitement, love, and a heart full of joy. Though her time with us was far too brief, the love, laughter, and the precious memories she gifted her family, friends, and even strangers will endure forever. Alayah's beautiful spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were blessed enough to know and love her.

May Alayah's memory be a blessing, and may the love she shared continue to bring comfort to everyone whose life she touched.

Alayah was preceded in her earthly transition by: great-grandparents, Linda Terrell, Jerry Watson, Fannie Banks, Gregory Knox; great-great-grandparents, Sarah Terrell. Charles Miller-Bey, and Dorothy Bright; and uncle, Gregory Banks Jr.

Uncles: Anthony Brinkley, Jr., Anthony Lundy Jr, Kayreign Lundy, Kaymeign Lundy, Jahmad Lundy, Kalin Ballard, Khy’cym Ballard, Rahsan Terrell, and Gary Terrell (Melissa).
