age 59 passed away on July 29, 2014. Son of the late Charlie and Lelia Fields, was born on April 22, 1955, in Dames Quarters, MD and on July 29, 2014, The Lord called him home. Wayne graduate from Washington High School in Princess Anne, MD. He later moved to Delaware and held various jobs including tire service and insurance. Wayne spent the last 30+ years as an Environmental Engineer with the latter part dedicated to Brandywine School District. Wayne married his best friend, Gloria Powell-Fields. On February 14, 2003, they began their journey as the Lord intended. Wayne loved people, fishing, and bowling. He was a very well respected Jr. League Bowling Coach. He loved spending time with his wife and is known for saying "I gotta get my wife them Crabbers". Wayne was preceded in death by his mother Lelia Fields; father Charlie; mother-in-law Ceola Powell; his siblings, Clinton "Buddy" Fields, Clyde Roberts, Charlie Fields, Ada Whigfall, and Rachel Price. Wayne leaves to cherish his memories his wife & best friend of 34 years Gloria Powell-Fields; children Anthony L. Powell (Alicia), Pamela Fields, and Ashley Lyons; grandchildren, Zavian Johnson, Nigel Lacy, Nadiah Lacy, and Asiyah Thomas-Campbell; 2 devoted godchildren, KeVaun Thomas, and Anijah Brown; siblings, Nelson Fields (Mary), Mitchell Fields (Vanessa), and William Fields; In-laws, Leonard Price (Rachel), Glenda Gardner, Sheila Calloway (Jeffrey), Rashid Ali, Clifford Powell (Emma), Mack Powell (Jean), Roberta Hall, and Betty Perry (Russell). Wayne has also left behind 2 devoted nephews, Daryl Fields (Shantella) and Morris Whigfall; devoted friends Rene Taylor-Howard and Family; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends, Bush Elementary School, and the New Destiny Church Family.
