Walter Kenneth Jefferson, affectionately called "Kenny" by his family and friends was born on November 23, 1954, in Camden, NJ. Kenny departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at home.
Kenny was born to the late William Andrew Jefferson and Pauline Hilda Jefferson.

In his early years, Kenny fellowshipped with Hopewell Baptist Church and in his later years with Holloway Memorial C.O.G.I.C. church.
Kenny was educated in the Penn's Grove Carneys Point School system and graduated in the Class of 1974, not long after that Kenny joined the United States Marine Corp., in which he served from 1975, as a Field Radio Operator, (decorated with the Rifle Marksmanship Badge & Good Conduct Medal) then receiving his Honorable Discharge in 1979. Kenny also served in the United States Army and was Honorably discharged in 1994. Kenny worked over the years in various places, Bill Construction & Hank Asphalt Company, as a heavy equipment operator, and Atlantic Electric as a Fuel Handler.

Kenny was loved for his magnetic personality, big smile & loud laughter, his nieces & nephews all loved "Uncle Kenny."
Kenny kept busy working in the yard and gardening and would help anybody with anything around the house if the price was right. In his spare time, he could be seen riding his bike which was his favorite pastime.

Kenny was predeceased by his three brother's Benny, Oubey, and Jimmy.

Kenny leaves to cherish his memory one daughter Lydia Marie Lee (Deron) of Lumberton, NJ; one son Kenneth Lee Jefferson of Pennsville, NJ, and his children's loving mother Jean Jefferson of Penn's Grove; two devoted sister's Marsha Louise Reed (Reginald) of Carney's Point, Joyce Marie Martin (Rossie) of Penn's Grove; one brother Lamont Dwayne Stanton of GA; two loving aunts Geneva Myres of Danville, VA, Marion Jefferson of Woodbury, NJ; one uncle Charlie Green of VA; special friend Michael Shorts. Kenny has a special devoted friend & caregiver Ms. Sue Ellen Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews & friends.
