Traci Yvonne Whittle, born on March 26, 1966 in Wilmington, DE to Mary E. Whittle. Traci was a beautiful soul. She departed this life on Aug 31, 2021.
Growing up in Wilmington, Traci received her early childhood education at Shortlidge Elementary School. She attended The Wallace Wallin School and the Special Olympics, where she won several awards for her running skills. Traci worked at Chimes, Newark, De., for a while. Traci also lived in Pennsylvania, Georgia, the Stockley Center at the Delaware State Hospital in Georgetown, DE and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOPS).
Traci loved to go for rides in the car, Cow Town, Walmart, the beach and restaurants. She also loved to be in her pajamas, and eat lots of food like cake and ice cream. Traci loved taking pictures and asking for money. If she had a dollar, she thought she was rich. Traci loved any song by Michael Jackson and loved to dance. Her favorite dance moves were the snake and the robot and I'm sure she twerked every now and then.
Traci was preceded in death by her brother, Andre Whittle.
Traci is survived by her mother, Mary Alexander; brothers, Anthony "Tony" Whittle, Eric "Michael" Whittle and Eddie Watts; sisters, Sheena Whittle and Eddina Watts; her Aunt Sarahanne Whittle and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family.
