Olivia "Nikki" Nicole West

Olivia Nicole West was born July 9, 1986 in Newark, Delaware to Tyrone R. West, Sr. and Cynthia L. West. She was the oldest of three children. After a courageous battle with cancer, she fell asleep in death on Friday, December 2, 2022 in Wilmington, Delaware.

Nikki received her education from the Colonial School District in New Castle, Delaware. After school, she worked in various fields of customer service.

Nikki had many hobbies and interests. She was very creative and talented in writing songs, singing, dancing, drawing and braiding hair. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and eating good food. She loved reading God’s Word and learning new Bible truths alongside her sister, Ashley.

Nikki will be remembered for her bubbly personality. Her smile and laugh were contagious. Everyone who knew her can attest to the fact that she always spoke her mind. She took an interest in different languages and cultures, especially Spanish and would greet everyone with an exciting “Hola!”

Nikki is survived by her three children Oniesha, Ishira and Ian West, her parents Tyrone and Cynthia West, her siblings Ashley Dowdy (Kyle) and Tyrone West, Jr, her nephew Kaidyn Dowdy, her paternal grandmother Carrie West, her paternal uncle Edward W. West, and a host of relatives and friends.
