Maudell was the daughter of the late Lorenzo Jordan and Mary Britt Ray. She worked at the Wilmington Medical Center until her retirement. She was married to the late Willie Lee Woodard. She was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church in Newark, DE. Mrs. Woodard was preceded in death by 1 brother, Clyde Deloatch and 1 sister-in-law, Emily Britt. She is survived by 1 daughter, Dorothy Jean Britt; 1 sister, Adell Anderson; 1 brother, Curtis Britt; 2 sister-in-laws, Louise Dwight and Lois Woodard; 1 grandchild; 2 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
