Loretta C. Walker 70, gained her wings on February 6th, 2023, at Accent Hospice Christiana
Care Hospital, Newark, Delaware. She was born May 22nd, 1952, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania
to the late Edith (McCall) English and Leroy English.
Loretta graduated from South Philadelphia High School, Class of 1969. She married the love of
her life Leron Walker in November 1974, who predeceased on August 25th, 2015. She worked for
The School District of Philadelphia in the payroll department for 25 plus years.
Loretta’s past time was watching her stories, going to the casino, eating her junk foods and
Pepsi.
In addition to her parents and spouse, she was predeceased by her brothers Robert and Leroy;
sisters Jeanette and Kim.
Loretta leaves behind her only child Keisha and her husband William Jr. (Bill); grandchildren
Reginald, Najee, William III, Vallee, and Nehemiah; adopted grandchild Taj’Lynne; great-
grandchildren Logan, Angel, Nicholas, Avery, Zakai, Zakari; adopted great-grandchild Carter.
Sister Vanessa; nieces Caroline, Carla, Latoya, Nicole, Jessica, and Heather; nephews Charles,
Jermey, Joshua, and Immanuel; Many great nieces and great nephews; host of family and
friends who will miss her dearly.
