LaQuenta was born at 10:29pm on Saturday, April 20,1974 in Wilmington, DE to Shelly

Daniels Warren and Edward James Dixon. She entered eternal rest on Friday April 5, 2024, at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE.


“Quenna”, “Que”, and “Q-Deezy” as she was affectionately called, received her early

education in the Colonial School District, graduating from Middletown High School in the

Appoquinmink School District. She also studied at Wilmington University.

After graduating she was employed in banking, health insurance and hospital billing.

She was employed by Christiana Care until she transitioned.


Quenna was a faithful member at the Abundant Life Christian Center. She had many

interests. She loved shoes, perfumes, and pearls. She also loved Zumba, music, and

people. She especially enjoyed being a mother to her “4 piece” as she referred to them.


Quenna was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Samuel Sr. and Ida

Daniels, her paternal grandparents Isaac Sr. and Dorothy Hicks. Her son Malik, $ Aunts

Kay and Sherry Daniels, Valerie Johnson and Patricia Watson, Stepfather Dallas

Warren Sr.


Quenna is survived by sons Paris and Isaiah Bowers (twins) Myles and Mehki Daniels,

her mother Shelley Warren, brothers Dallas Warren Jr, Parrish Cale, James and Jarell

Dixon. Sisters Edwina and Kendra Johnson. Aunt Felecia Daniels, Uncle Samuel

Daniels Jr., Morgan, Reginald and Isaac Hicks Jr. 1 great aunt Bissie Wiggins, 6 nieces,

6 nephews, 1 great niece, and 8 great nephews. Her best friends Tara Joyner and

Monquie Hall. Devoted cousins Victoria Perkins, Carmella Perkins, Fonda Queen,

Myisha Brooks, Talayia Swann, Quinn Daniels, LaTasha Reed, Simone Wiley, Hope

Yellowdy. Devoted Friends Dr. Angela Brown, Sheryl Hyson, Tamara Walls, Angel Miller-

Dublan, Naomi Pleaseants, Sonya Williams, Bregetta Fields, LenTasha Jones, Pamela

Washington, Joyce Gatewood- Waters and Loyae Ricks Sr. 1 sister in law Lisa Cale, 1

devoted Aunt Shelia Yellowdy. A host of relatives and friends.
