Key'Airra Willette Hollis

December 3, 2009 — May 24, 2020

We were blessed with the royal arrival of Key'Airra Willette Hollis and Key"Air William Hollis on December 3, 2009. Key'Airra made her grand entrance at 9:54am with her "Knight-in-Shinning Armor" in tow at 9:55am to Tiffani Renee Taylor and Maurice Nathan Hollis. After a long battle with asthma, our sweet queen closed her beautiful eyes on May 24, 2020 in the loving arms of her three big sisters, surrounded by her mother and siblings.

Key'Airra or "LaLa" as she was affectionately called by her family and friends was a fourth grader at Bayard Elementary School. Key'Airra was Student Body Secretary at Bayard. She was very proud to represent her classmates. La-La adored stuffed animals, LOL dolls and had a special affinity for cats. Her hobbies included writing her own "Grumpy Cat" books, helping her big sister with her nephew and making TikTok videos. There was something very special about La-La that made everyone she encountered fall in love with her light and love. She was an amazing daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, and a friend to all. Key'Airra shared a very close endearing relationship with her twin brother Key'Air. She mothered him and he was her protector. Key'Airra fought very hard and remained strong; even at her darkest hours she kept a smile on her beautiful face.

Key'Airra was preceded in death by her paternal aunt, Nat Hollis.

Key'Airra is survived by mother Tiffani Taylor, father Maurice Hollis, brothers Key'Air Hollis (her twin), Michael Minor, Mi'Kylah Minor; sisters Key'Asia Hollis, Key'Anu Hollis, Key'Aun Hollis, Takiyah Lucas and Key'Airah Lucas; maternal grandfather Richard Taylor, maternal grandmother Willette Taylor, paternal grandfather Maurice Hollis, paternal grandmother Narda Hollis; aunt Evaliss Taylor; nephews Jordan Couch and Jassir Lucas; best friends Gia and Skyler and a host of other family and friends.

Queen La-La will be eternally missed by all who knew and loved her.
