John H Coleman

John H. Coleman, Jr., son of the late John H. Coleman, Sr. and Lottie Mae Gasby Coleman was born February 3, 1937 and departed this lefe on August 16, 2008 in the Wilmington Hospital. John received his early education in the public schools in Hockrddin, DE. Before retiring, John was employed as a laborer in the Mushroom Industry. John was affectionately referred to as daddy, Uncle Johnny and John. John accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior on August 14, 2008 at approximately 7:15 PM. Johnny was a father which words could not describe because he was one that went beyond excellent or great. The Love Johnny had for his children was the same love that God has for us. Johnny was a helpful and encouraging man who always gave of himself. He enjoyed cooking, cleaning, fishing and playing the lottery and he could always be found studying his dream and number books. Johnny was predeceased in death by his daughter, Rhonda, his stepson, Gary E. Miller, one brother, Ronald (Napp), and three sisters, Catherine (Cissy), Sandra (San) and Janet (Midgee) Coleman. Johnny is truly loved and will be forever missed by his daughters, Deborah, Beverly, Donna, Darlene, Michelle, Crystal and his step-daughter Denise Poindexter; his brother, Charles (Poop) and his sister, Arlene (Tucky) Coleman; a devoted friend, Margaret Miller; 28 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and a hos of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
