JoAnn Marshall was born November 3, 1944 to Elroy & Winnie Mason in Stockton, Maryland. She spent her early years in Stockton, Maryland. JoAnn met Charles Dale, Sr. at the age of 14. They were united in holy matrimony September 16, 1962. They were blessed with four children: Sherry (Kenneth) Ponzo, Charlette Samuels, Charles Dale, Jr. (Dana), Robyn Dale (Chris). The family resided in Wilmington, DE. JoAnn worked as an Office Manager for Dr. Robert South of Pike Creek Chiropractic Center for over 25 years, eventually leaving in May of 2017 due to illness. JoAnn was a very loving wife, mother, daughter and friend. She enjoyed crafts, traveling, cooking, shopping especially for shoes, listening to gospel music and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed joking with her family members, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. JoAnn was "one of a kind." She loved talking about God.
