James A. Williams "Jim" age 73, of NewCastle passed away peacefully at Christiana Hospital on Saturday, July 14, 2007 surrounded by his loving wife and loved ones. James served as a Charter member of Cornerstone Fellowship Baptist Church where he served on the Trustee Board (Chairman/Vice Chairman) until his death. James was predeceased by his parents and a brother George Dade Williams. He is survived by his wife Victoria L. Williams, affectionately known as :Love"; daughters Sonja D. Messina, of Clayton, DE, Vanessa A. Williams of Newport, DE Nina S. Williams of Wilmington, DE, Tina M. Williams of Wilmington, DE; sons James A. Williams, Jr., of Wilmington, DE, Mark S. Williams of Atlanta, GA, Darrin T. Williams of Dover, DE; 3 grandsons Devin I. Harmon, Kevin L. Harmon, Keith L. Harmon, Jr.; sister Laura A. Saunders of Newark, DE; lifelong friend Rev. Theodore Anthony, of Birmingham, Al; goddaughters Regina Dunnigan and Erica Harrell-Tompkins; godgrandsons, Donald and Reginald Dunnigan, Ali Saunders, Mark Tompkins, Jr.; lifelong church friends, Jeanette Simon of Wilmington, DE, Delores Drennon of Wilmington, DE; church parents Clarence and Lillian Lucas; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, a host of nieces and nephews, and many friends.
