Isbelle Emma Stokes

Isabella "Emma" Riley Stokes, daughter of the late Howard and Janie Bush Riley was born on January 8, 1926 in Owensboro, KY. She departed this life on January 22, 2004 in the St. Francis Hospital. Mrs. Stokes was joined in holy matrimony to Olen Stokes, Sr. on January 25, 1944 . They would have celebrated their 59th Wedding Anniversary. She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted husband, friend, confident and soul-mate, Olen Stokes, Sr.; 4 sons, Johnny Wimbley, Olen Jr., Michael and Ricky Stokes of Lexington, KY; 1 brother, James William Riley; 3 sister, Dorothy, Gertrude and Laura Riley, all of Owensboro, KY; 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; 2 daughters-in-law, Janice and Tiio Stokes; adopted daughter, Elaine Lambert, former daughter-in-law, Beverly Stokes and a host of relatives and friends.
