Glenn Eric Waters was born on September 11, 1957 in Wilmington, Delaware to Alonzo and Addie Waters. He passed on July 12, 2023 at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware
Glenn received his early education from the Appoquinimink school district in Middletown De. He graduated from Middletown High School. After school he worked at Stauffer Chemical- Formosa Plastics for 28 years as a maintenance mechanic until retiring for medical problems.
Glenn met Beverly Thompson in Middletown, Delaware.They later married and have two boys Onaris and Tyair.
Glenn loved to talk and meet people. He was the "go to person" if you needed information on how to find something or a certain service that would save you money. He cherished the friendships he formed throughout the years. He enjoyed many jazz cruises while also meeting the jazz artist, just to talk more. He was like a kid when going on trips with the grandkids, especially to Disney world. And as soon as he returned, eagerly planning the next excursion. And he always cheered on them Tampa Bay Buccaneers even while complaining about the ugly orange colored uniforms in the teams early years.
Glenn was preceded in death by Alonzo Waters his father, Addie Waters his mother and brothers Nelson and Kenneth Waters
Glenn is survived by his wife Beverly, sons, Onaris and Tyair, daughter Kayla Brown, brother Michael (Teresa). Five grandchildren, Ashlynn, Shalynn, Gavyn, Braelynn, and Adalynn. Two great-grandchildren, Kingston and Zoey. Two brother in-laws, Vincent and Steven Thompson. Two sister in-laws, Vanessa Brown ( Ricardo) and Patricia Thompson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
