Deborah Ann Hayes

July 13, 1955 — October 27, 2006

Deborah Ann Hayes Debbie was born in Wilmington, Delaware on July 13, 1955 to the late James Henry and Inez Marie Warrington until the Lord needed a smiling angel. She took her wings and flew home to be with the Lord on October 27, 2006. She was youngest of five children and identical twin to Denise Marie Warrington who is seven minutes older than she is. She was raised in South Wilmington. She received her early education in the public schools of Wilmington, prior to attending Howard Career Center. While she was attending school she met, Ernest Tazell. From this union was born, Dethilar (Dee) Denise. Then, God put together a holy matrimony between her and Horace Harvey III on May 12, 1974. From this union were born 2 sons, Horace Harvey IV and Henry Corbett. The couple loved never stopped flowing. When the happily married would greet each other it was always with 3 loving kiss. She was not only a dedicated mother and wife to her own, but to all those who came in contact with her. She never stopped smiling and never stopped loving. She was then gainfully employed at Christiana Care Health Services as a Service Assistant for the past 20 years. In her capacity, she would assist in training new hires. She was an active member of Glorious Full Gospel Tabernacle Center under the leadership of Apostle Patricia C. Williams, Senior Pastor, where she received the Holy Ghost and was saved. She was a member of the Mainline and Mass Choir. She was also the smiling usher. Growing up she would always tease Niecey (her Twin), by saying, " I am the good-looking one." Debbie enjoyed different activities. She loved to shop. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her stepchildren. Being as lucky as she was, she enjoyed Bingo and playing cards, since she seemed to win most times. She was often times her son-in-law Albert (Al) Medley dates to many functions. She was thought by many at the functions to be his girlfriend, but then it was discovered, she was more than just a mother-in-law, but a Mom to him. She truly enjoyed the many functions from banquets to concerts at her church, GFGTC. She was just the winner of the Jackpot at Family Fun Night. Debbie was known for being the picture lady. If you did not have a picture for her you did not have anything to say to her. Debbie, will be missed but not forgotten. She leaves so many cherished memories with her family. Her soul mate, her husband her confidant can remember the times when he and his wife would greet each other with a loving kiss. And how about Dee and Debbie going shopping and to church getting their praise on together while being dressed alike. Horace and Henry, the sons, remember how no matter what you did, Mom was truly the supporting foundation. Gave loving advice that can be matched by no other. Al, her date and more than just a son-in-law, remember, we would laugh at everyone thinking I was your girlfriend and wondered where your wife was. Al
