Cherril M. Anderson

Cherril May Anderson was born on October 8, 1946 in Trelawny Jamaica. She was the daughter of the late Wilford and Beryl Anderson. Cherril departed this world on February 11, 2022 after a brief illness at Churchman Village Nursing Home, where she was a resident.
Cherril, a.k.a mom-mom, completed her primary and secondary education in Trelawny, Jamaica. She migrated to the United States in 1982, joining her siblings and extended family in Wilmington, Delaware. She was gainfully employed at Christiana Care for over 25 years, until her retirement in 2006.
Her hobbies were cooking, baking and reading. She also loved to entertain and share her mouthwatering authentic Jamaican cuisine with family and friends. Most of all she loved visiting her homeland.
Cherril was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, her daughter Sandra Richards, and grandson Donald Rainford.
She is survived by her children Sharon, Ann-Marie, Errol, and Nicola, sons-in-law, two brothers, Glenford and Franklin, six sisters, Daphne, Fay, Phyllis, Claudette, Ina, and Doreen, 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
